Harp-flute duo: Morag Easson & Katharine Wake
Flute and harp is often described as the most appealing combination of instruments, and as such, this duo is very popular for weddings, corporate events and concerts.Flautist, Katharine Wake, is based in Edinburgh and combines busy schedules of teaching and performing.
Morag and Kate have been playing together since 2004 and they enjoy exploring new music and creatively borrowing tunes from other instruments. Both experienced performers display the wide breadth of versatility of their instruments. Their repertoire is a sparkling selection of music from around the globe and spanning the centuries. Morag uses concert harp and clarsach interchangeably when accompanying the flute.
