Prince of Wales. Morag has won both major competition titles at the National Mod for

The Clarsach, the Scottish harp, is Scotland's oldest musical instrument - even older than
the bagpipes or fiddle. Its origins date back to early Christian times when it is believed
to have been brought over to Scotland from Ireland. Today the clarsach is very much alive
and part of Scottish culture with a whole range of styles being performed, from the
traditional right through to jazz and pop. Morag's clarsach skills are complemented by
extensive experience of classical flute. Her piccolo is also considerably
easier to carry than any harp! However, her newest passion is the electric harp.
Morag is currently based in Edinburgh and performs mainly in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perthshire, Stirling and Fife.
